This model is also available in the SL version. The SL back length is specific for women: on average, women have shorter backs than men. The carrying system in the SL model is therefore somewhat shorter than in the deuter standard backpacks. In addition, the carrying system is specially adapted to the female anatomy. The easiest way to carry heavy loads comfortably is to have your backpack and carrier form a single unit. Our Contact carrying system keeps the weight close to the body's center of gravity. This guarantees full control and effective load transfer - even in demanding terrain.
Made without PFAS
This product has been manufactured by deuter without the use of per- and polyfluorinated chemicals with the aim of reducing reliance on substances that are harmful to the environment and health.
PFAS are used, among other things, as a waterproofing finish due to their water, dirt and grease-repellent properties.
deuter now uses an environmentally friendly DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish that is harmless to human and animal health.

By increasingly adopting materials and technologies for our collections that have a smaller carbon footprint, we are taking positive steps toward reducing our CO² emissions. But despite our greatest efforts, it’s impossible not to generate any emissions at all. And so, we’ve teamed up with ClimatePartner to offset all unavoidable CO² emissions. From now on, when a deuter product is bought, the volume of emissions released by the manufacture and transportation of it will be compensated for through voluntary offsetting and targeted investment in select social and climate protection projects. Very light day hiking backpacks with a well ventilated contact back. Access to the main compartment via 73 or 80 cm long 2-way zips. Large external zipped compartment. Central outer compartment, zipped mesh pockets on hip fins. Total length hip belt & fins: 122-124 cm. Padded hip & shoulder straps: good. Wearing comfort: excellent. No rain cover. PFC-free. Fair Wear Leader status.
