Description

deuter celebrates its 125th anniversary in 2023 and thus launches an Anniversary Edition - in classic black and with a very special graphic. This is a tribute to the history of alpinism and the claim of deuter to continue to shape mountain sports with innovations. The climate-neutral, PFAS-free Guide SL offers the best possible compromise between comfort-to-weight ratio and function. The comfortable carrying system with good ventilation, the load center close to the body, the ergonomically shaped, removable hip fins, the robust materials, the sophisticated attachment options and the stowable rope fixation allow full control and high freedom of movement during multi-day alpine use of the backpack. The J-shaped front opening also allows quick access to the main compartment.

420D PA FD RIPS

> D stands for Denier – a unit of measurement for yarn weight. 600D means that 9,000 meters of yarn weigh 600 grams. The higher the value, the more robust (and often heavier) the material.

SL Women’s Fit

This model is also available in the SL version. The SL back length is specific for women: on average, women have shorter backs than men. The carrying system in the SL model is therefore somewhat shorter than in the deuter standard backpacks. In addition, the carrying system is specially adapted to the female anatomy. Made without PFAS

This product has been manufactured by deuter without the use of per- and polyfluorinated chemicals with the aim of reducing reliance on substances that are harmful to the environment and health.

PFAS are used, among other things, as a waterproofing finish due to their water, dirt and grease-repellent properties.

deuter now uses an environmentally friendly DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish that is harmless to human and animal health.
