Description

Quickly en route in the mountains with the light-as-a-feather Speed Lite. Thanks to its athletic V-line and anatomically-shaped shoulder straps, the lightweight all-rounder offers enormous freedom of movement on day hikes and for many other sporting activities. A high level of comfort and technically ingenious functions without superfluous pounds of material is what the Speed Lite is all about.

210D PA
We use the extremely robust polyamide fabric with 210D for the weight-reduced Lite models in the Rise series. Thanks to the dense and extremely fine structure of the fabric, both of the polyamide fabrics are extremely tear and abrasion resistant. The double PU coating protects from moisture with a water column of 1500 mm.
  • > D stands for Denier – a unit of measurement for yarn weight. 600D means that 9,000 meters of yarn weigh 600 grams. The higher the value, the more robust (and often heavier) the material.
  • > PES stands for Polyester. Polyester fibers are highly tear- and abrasion-resistant, easy to care for, and absorb very little moisture.
  • > PA stands for Polyamide (also known as nylon). Polyamide fibers are especially durable, elastic, and lightweight – ideal for textiles subject to high stress.
  • > REC stands for Recycled – the material is made entirely or partially from recycled resources.
  • > BS stands for bluesign®-certified – the material has been produced in an environmentally friendly and sustainable way according to the bluesign® standard.

This product has been manufactured by deuter without the use of per- and polyfluorinated chemicals with the aim of reducing reliance on substances that are harmful to the environment and health.

PFAS are used, among other things, as a waterproofing finish due to their water, dirt and grease-repellent properties.

deuter now uses an environmentally friendly DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish that is harmless to human and animal health.
