330D PA 6.6 Ripstop
The tightly woven 210 and 330 denier polyamide fabric is the ideal combination of high strength and low weight. The technical shiny surface with robust Ripstop threads lends the fabric its striking appearance. The extremely light and yet highly stable fabric is perfect for robust lightweight constructions. High-quality PU coating.
630D PA

  • > D stands for Denier – a unit of measurement for yarn weight. 600D means that 9,000 meters of yarn weigh 600 grams. The higher the value, the more robust (and often heavier) the material.
  • > PES stands for Polyester. Polyester fibers are highly tear- and abrasion-resistant, easy to care for, and absorb very little moisture.
  • > PA stands for Polyamide (also known as nylon). Polyamide fibers are especially durable, elastic, and lightweight – ideal for textiles subject to high stress.
  • > REC stands for Recycled – the material is made entirely or partially from recycled resources.
  • > BS stands for bluesign®-certified – the material has been produced in an environmentally friendly and sustainable way according to the bluesign® standard.
Alpine System

With backpacks for use in alpine regions, it is essential to ensure the optimum balance of carrying comfort, durability and function in terms of weight. The Alpine system is the answer to this challenge. Both of its softstripe pads embrace the back flexibly with every movement. In conjunction with the streamlined pack sack, the load is always close to the body’s centre of gravity. This guarantees full control of the backpack.

THE RESULT:
The Alpine System combines a firm, secure fit for concentrated action in difficult terrain with maximum comfort and pleasant ventilation between the two Softstripe back pads.

Made without PFAS

Made without PFAS

This deuter product was manufactured by us without the use of per- and polyfluorinated chemicals. This reduces the use of substances that are harmful to the environment and health.

PFAS is used, among other things, as a coating for rain protection, as they have water, dirt and grease-repellent properties.

Instead, deuter now uses DWR (Durable Water Repellency) impregnation, which is harmless to health and environmentally friendly.

The models of the Guide series are the best-selling alpine backpacks in Germany. Thanks to a successful facelift, this should remain so. The Guide manages the balancing act of controlled, cuddly fit and high flexibility, the load transfer is very good. Compared to its predecessor, the weight is reduced by around 300 grams. Still top: the practical equipment and very solid materials.
