The new AC Lite is the ideal companion for day hikes. Our popular hiking pack is now even lighter and features our Aircomfort back system for maximum ventilation. A large zipper opening down the full length of the front provides an excellent overview of contents. A cell phone, snacks etc. are easy to access in the stretch mesh side pockets. And a helmet holder can be attached using dedicated docking loops on the front.

Whenever it’s about keeping the weight of the backpack as low as possible with moderate stress, then this is the ideal solution. I just walked the Camino Primitivo in Spain from Oviedo to Santiago, and then further to Finisterre and Muxia (approx. 300 mi). Everything I needed for this three-week trip fit perfectly in the AC 24. I spent the nights exclusively in Albergues or Hostels, and therefore, did not have to carry a sleeping bag and thermo mattress. The total weight was less than 12 lbs and the airlines considered it as personal item. Adjustability and functionality were excellent. The rain cover kept everything dry during three stormy days. Ventilation was perfect, when it got hot. I never felt the need for additional storage or anything else. This is now my favorite companion for all my future multi-week, ultra-light hiking trips, where I can sleep indoors.
