Extra long fit

Our Extra Long (EL) backpacks guarantee perfect carrying comfort for tall people! Athletes who are between 1.85 and 2.00 metres have difficulty finding backpacks that fit. More information about our fits.

Our unique Airstripes System takes care of that and offers effective ventilation. It consists of two contoured, air-channelled foam profiles that are covered with a highly breathable Wide AirMesh lining. The reduced contact surface results in an optimized fresh air circulation. Also, the pack’s load is kept close to the body and thus won’t throw the rider off balance.

A really good backpack. As I'm 1.98m tall, I found it very difficult to find a suitable hiking backpack. But I finally found one with the Deuter Trail 32. This backpack is comfortable for taller people, but I would see the comfort limit at 2m rather than 2.05m (as advertised), because I had to adjust the backpack to the largest possible length so that it fits comfortably and for my taste it could be 1-2cm longer (but it's perfectly fine as it is). Another point of criticism is the lack of a helmet net. This backpack is advertised as being good for via ferrata climbing (which it is) and the pictures also show how a helmet is attached to the helmet net at the back. However, there are only 4 loops for attaching the helmet net. The helmet net itself has to be purchased separately and is not included in the delivery. This is also stated in the product description, but I think that the helmet net could have been included for the price. And a note on the pictures that it is not included in the delivery would also have been nice.
