Not to be confused with New York city’s Manhattan, the Mainhattan is named after the central business district of Frankfurt am Main. This multi-purpose bike pannier can be used as a handy way of transporting your shopping or belongings on the back of your back, or thanks to the zip-in organizer unit it can also be used for work and slung across the shoulder like a regular bag. The waterproof, PFC-free material reliably protects contents from rain and road spray. deuter’s newly developed BagFix quick-release system leaves you free to pedal in peace, with the bike bearing the brunt of the load – and nothing on your back. A quick pull on the release handle and the bag is detached and ready to use as a shoulder bag. A large flap with magnetic buckles allows the capacity to be expanded by another 10 liters.

420D PA PLAIN TPU

A very durable 420 denier polyamide fabric that is highly abrasion resistant due to its high weave density. A TPU coating on the inside and FC free DWR on the outside make the fabric waterproof even under extreme conditions. Glossy surface.

* D stands for denier. This describes the yarn weight. 600D corresponds to 600 grams per 9000 meters.
* PES stands for polyester. PES fibres are very tear and abrasion resistant and hardly absorb moisture.
* PA stands for polyamide. PA fibres are extremely durable and abrasion-resistant. They are also characterized by high elasticity and low weight.

PFC free

This deuter product is free of per- & polyfluorinated chemicals. deuter thus reduces the use of environmentally harmful substances that pollute the environment and health.

PFC is used, among other things, as a coating for rain protection, as they have water-, dirt- and grease-repellent properties.

Instead, deuter now uses DWR (Durable Water Repellency) impregnation that is harmless to health and the environment.

The waterproof deuter Mainhattan pannier is equipped with the newly developed BagFix holding system. The 17-litre capacity offers space for almost everything you’ll need to transport in everyday life: shopping, clothes, documents and more. Thanks to the white interior compartment, you can quickly find everything inside and if you have a bit more luggage, you can simply expand the volume by up to 10 litres. The interior is sensibly organised with a divider for a laptop, cables and pens, which can be removed via a zipper when you don’t need it. The new BagFix retention system is equally impressive. The large adjustment range of the fixed attachment points means that the Deuter Mainhattan is compatible with a wide range of racks and stays securely in place even on rough terrain. The icing on
