Admittedly, I have been a Deuter fan for decades. My Trans Alpine 30 backpack has covered many thousands of kilometers and is still in top shape today. Zippers, seams, outer material, etc. are all top notch. My "small 9 liter daypack" has been a Camelbak "Blowfish" for years and no one knows it that old anymore - except me. Unfortunately, the zippers are no longer working properly. So I decided at short notice to buy the Deuter classic - Bike 1 - 14 liter backpack in black. Wow, what a great daypack. Tools, pumps, tube, cell phone, wallet, spare shirts, buff, 0.5 liter teapot, food, etc. etc. - the things that disappear into this small backpack - crazy - and everything, but really everything, finds a proper place. Really great space organization. And then there's this helmet net - finally a simple and clever solution. You can see that I'm delighted. The comfort and fit (I'm 193 cm tall) is top notch and the backpack can be worn for hours without any problems, just like I was used to with my 30 liter Trans Alpine. Conclusion: Yes, I'm totally impressed - no, I'm not sold. 5 stars for this sensational 14 liter bike and hiking backpack!!!
