And we only use down that carries the Responsible Down Standard (RDS).

40D PA Ripstop
The outer cover of the Orbit and Space models is extraordinarily smooth and light. This Ripstop nylon weave is also distinguished by its water-repellent finish. The even lighter Hexlite version serves as a cover for Dream Lite.

  • > D stands for Denier – a unit of measurement for yarn weight. 600D means that 9,000 meters of yarn weigh 600 grams. The higher the value, the more robust (and often heavier) the material.
  • > PES stands for Polyester. Polyester fibers are highly tear- and abrasion-resistant, easy to care for, and absorb very little moisture.
  • > PA stands for Polyamide (also known as nylon). Polyamide fibers are especially durable, elastic, and lightweight – ideal for textiles subject to high stress.
  • > REC stands for Recycled – the material is made entirely or partially from recycled resources.
  • > BS stands for bluesign®-certified – the material has been produced in an environmentally friendly and sustainable way according to the bluesign® standard.
