Made without PFAS
This deuter product was manufactured by us without the use of per- and polyfluorinated chemicals. This reduces the use of substances that are harmful to the environment and health.
PFAS is used, among other things, as a coating for rain protection, as they have water, dirt and grease-repellent properties.
Instead, deuter now uses DWR (Durable Water Repellency) impregnation, which is harmless to health and environmentally friendly.

By increasingly adopting materials and technologies for our collections that have a smaller carbon footprint, we are taking positive steps toward reducing our CO² emissions. But despite our greatest efforts, it’s impossible not to generate any emissions at all. And so, we’ve teamed up with ClimatePartner to offset all unavoidable CO² emissions. In the 1/2019 edition, the Outdoor magazine tested ten lightweight but robust and comfortable backpacks.
