The world is round. Circular. And everything in it is connected in one giant circular system. We need to be honest. We don’t want to ‘greenwash’ the whole thing, to make us feel better about ourselves. Our vision is much bigger than that. We call it ‘Together for 360° Responsibility’. And it represents the holistic, all-encompassing approach we take to doing business sustainably. It may not be the easiest path. And it’s certainly not the most direct one. But we’re convinced that it will be more sustainable in the end.

The planet we live on is our only source of food, water, oxygen and precious resources. It also offers uniquely beautiful places that provide us all – not just outdoor enthusiasts – with a fascinating range of ecosystems and environments that energize and sustain us.

Our deuter Policy
We strive to preserve what we love for future generations by accepting responsibility for both people and planet - that is why we ensure the careful use of resources and eco-friendly production, as well as fair working conditions. To do so, we uphold the highest standards and cultivate lasting relationships with our manufacturing and development partners.
In this regard, our Promise Policy outlines the most important principles and rules for all our activities - transparently, openly, and bindingly.
The Promise Policy and its related Guidelines (Planet & People Guideline) are specifically geared toward the needs of deuter’s direct and indirect suppliers. They define deuter's requirements and recommendations regarding social and environmental sustainability issues towards all production partners in order to reduce the risk of harmful practices. Thereby they provide informative and practical guidance on how to achieve best practices and compliance with the policy.
The Policy and its related Guidelines are communicated to suppliers in the form of a Supplier Handbook via an e-learning platform. The complete Supplier Handbook can be viewed here after registration.
