deuter backpacks are available in different fits. The SL (Slim Line) range has been specially designed for the female anatomy. In cooperation with female athletes and mountaineers, we have been able to design the perfect ski backpacks for women. The highlights are:
- A women's ski backpack has a slightly shorter back, which means that the hip belts and straps fit perfectly.
- The SL backpacks provide a better fit for the female hips. The hip fins are angled upwards and form a conical shape when closed.
- The ski backpacks for women have ergonomic S-shaped shoulder straps that fit perfectly to the female chest thanks to their soft edges.

Whether you're skiing in deep snow, freeriding, ski touring, snowboarding, or snowshoeing—if you spend all day in the snow, you need the right backpack to safely transport everything you need and have it quickly at hand. The avalanche backpacks for women are equipped with an airbag that protects you from being buried. The SL fit is perfect, and the leg loops and hip fins prevent the backpack from being pulled off your shoulders in an avalanche.
The electric trigger of the airbag system can be easily recharged with a USB-C cable after three activations. Not only do you save on expensive gas cartridges, but you can also take the backpack with you on flights without having to register it. Women's ski backpacks for day ski tours on and off the slopes
A day on the peaks and back down to the valley: these ski backpacks are perfect for women who love powder snow and frost. With a pack volume of 24 to 28 liters, these women's backpacks can hold everything you need for your ski tour. The ski backpacks also have all the features freeriders need: a safety compartment for probes and shovels and robust, water-repellent material. Skis or snowboards can be strapped to all women's ski backpacks in the series using a modular fastening system.

This minimalist, lightweight ski backpack weighs just 680 grams. With the Updays 24 SL, skiers choose a lightweight yet robust ski backpack made from tear-resistant polyamide fabric. This climate-neutral women's ski backpack is ideal for speed ski touring and athletic skiing without a lot of extra weight. Despite its lightness, deuter has equipped it with all the necessary features, such as:
- Various options for securing skis
- Infinitely adjustable, removable chest strap with signal whistle
- Safety compartment for shovel and avalanche probe
deuter Freescape Lite 24 SL
Despite its 24-liter capacity, the Freescape Lite ski backpack is a real space saver. Side pockets, a lid compartment, and zippered pockets allow you to store your gear sensibly. The side zipper opening gives you quick access to your gear. When your skis are attached to the backpack, you can still access the inside of the backpack via the lid opening. The Lite back system and the backpack shape, which is tailored to women, allow you to carry the ski backpack comfortably, even when your skis are attached to it.

deuter Freerider 28 SL
Thanks to the Alpine back system, the Freerider SL sits close to your back: the slim, tapered pack sack also guarantees you full control even during rapid ski turns. This ski backpack for women is the perfect compromise between lightness, comfort, and durability. As with the Freerider Pro SL, you can quickly open the women's ski backpack via the zipper on the back without having to remove attached skis. In an emergency, you can still quickly access your safety equipment, which is stored in the large separate safety compartment at the front. The model is made of water- and snow-repellent material to keep your belongings dry. The women's ski backpack is available with a packing volume of 28 liters.

The robust yet lightweight Rise series, as well as the Freerider Pro and Freescape Pro, are the ideal companions for multi-day ski tours, snowshoe hikes, and alpine tours in winter. Cleverly divided compartments support you on your tour.
deuter Rise 32+ SL
The Alpine back system of this women's ski backpack distributes the weight evenly across your shoulders and hips, providing noticeable relief for your back. The Alpine back system combines safety and comfort with Softstripe padding that runs parallel to the back, keeping the load close to your body's center of gravity. A wraparound opening at the back allows you to quickly access the contents of the women's ski backpack. The robust, dirt- and snow-repellent material protects against moisture. The volume of the Rise 32+ SL can be easily expanded thanks to a height-adjustable lid. Skis, snowshoes, and snowboards can also be attached here.

deuter Freerider Pro 32+ SL
This freeride model is specially designed for experienced female skiers who enjoy extensive ski tours. A roll closure allows you to expand the storage space of your women's freeride backpack from 32 to 42 liters. Compression straps allow you to securely fasten your luggage and attach additional equipment such as a rope. As with the Freerider SL, the Alpine back system guarantees comfortable carrying all day long, even on long tours.
deuter Freescape Pro 38+ SL
The largest ski backpack for women has a capacity of 38 liters, which can be expanded by an additional 10 liters if necessary: Experienced ski mountaineers use this large ski backpack for long and demanding ski tours or ascents. The Alpine back system in the SL version keeps the load close to the body, while the padded lumbar area and shoulder straps adapted to the female body shape ensure comfort when carrying. The back padding still allows for air circulation. The material of the Freescape series is made from certified recycled material; the SL ski backpack is PFAS-free impregnated.

Sustainability is a top priority in the production of women's ski backpacks
How sustainable are deuter's women's ski backpacks? In production, we pay particular attention to environmental protection, consumer protection, and occupational safety. Instead of using harmful PFAS chemicals, we use an environmentally friendly DWR coating to impregnate our outdoor products.
Since 1994, we have been working with just one production partner for our backpacks, which enables us to strictly implement the requirements of the Fair Wear Foundation, of which deuter has been a member since 2011. In 2013, the initiative for sustainable textile management awarded us Leader Status – the highest accolade – for our efforts. Some women's ski backpacks are also certified as bluesign® products. This means that the entire production of the ski backpacks follows sustainable standards that are designed to minimize the impact on the environment, people, and resources.
