  • PES stands for Polyester. Polyester fibers are highly tear- and abrasion-resistant, easy to care for, and absorb very little moisture.
  • PA stands for Polyamide (also known as nylon). Polyamide fibers are especially durable, elastic, and lightweight – ideal for textiles subject to high stress.
  • REC stands for Recycled – the material is made entirely or partially from recycled resources.
  • BS stands for bluesign®-certified – the material has been produced in an environmentally friendly and sustainable way according to the bluesign® standard.

Top-Features of Freescape Tour 38 SL

The snow-shedding LiteSnow back system delivers superior comfort and moisture protection. The special shape of the EVA foam padding covered in Spandex keeps snow from sticking – for a dry back and solid fit on lengthy carrying sections in high-alpine winter conditions. A wide rear opening offers quick access without having to loosen off any straps. This also means you can leave your skis or board strapped to the pack while rummaging around in the main compartment.

With its lightweight back system, clever use of materials and optimized feature set, this pack delivers an excellent comfort-to-weight ratio. It combines light weight with full-spec functionality. For everything you need, and nothing more.

This pack combines full alpine-spec features with expandable volume. Its roll-top closure and height-adjustable lid mean the capacity can be extended without restricting head movement. An avalanche equipment compartment, ice axe and ski attachments, a rope strap, helmet holder, tough materials and glove-friendly buckles deliver technical functionality through challenging terrain.

The Benefits
The special shape of the back padding with recesses covered in snow shedding material means snow cannot stick to it, which prevents moisture from penetrating, and results in all-day-Long carrying comfort.

SL Women’s Fit

This model is also available in the SL version. The SL back length is specific for women: on average, women have shorter backs than men. The carrying system in the SL model is therefore somewhat shorter than in the deuter standard backpacks. In addition, the carrying system is specially adapted to the female anatomy.
