By teaming up with Oechsler, a leading polymer technology company , we have come up with the back system of the future. Based on our proven Airstripes back system, where the foam element is now replaced with a 3D printed, open-cell skeleton structure made from EPU.

The latest iteration of the deuter Airstripes back system has wide spaces between its innovative open-cell 3D-printed back padding to allow even more airflow for a dry back when riding hard. We’ve taken a well-balanced and minimized selection of materials and created an especially lightweight yet durable mountain biking backpack that delivers a fantastic balance of comfort and weight.

CLEVER CONSTRUCTION FOR A SECURE FIT AND RELIABLE PROTECTION

The EPU back padding material adapts perfectly to the shape of the body, and together with the snug vest-style shoulder straps and the part-elasticated sternum strap and elasticated waist belt, it creates a snug, compact fit on the back for the most technically demanding trails. The built-in back protector in memory foam provides reliable protection for the spine, which makes it suitable for enduro racing.
