Convenient load control on long trekking tours 

The Aircontact Core's back system ensures high carrying comfort and precise load control. With the VariClick system, the rucksack can be individually adjusted to your back length in five stages – with a noticeable click. ActiveBalance shoulder straps follow every movement, while the VariFlex system and ECL hip fins distribute the weight evenly. The sturdy aluminium Y-frame and breathable Air Spacer mesh promote air circulation and increase comfort – even on demanding tours.

INNOVATIVE BACK SYSTEM FEATURES
FOR COMFORTABLE LOAD CONTROL

Our new VariClick system offers five-stage back length adjustment for a tailored fit. This easy-touse feature benefits from an audible ‘click’ when in position and because it stems from the center of the pack creates an evenly adjusted length.

ActiveBalance shoulder straps

The new ActiveBalance shoulder straps have a pivoting shoulder panel that moves independently from the pivoting VariFlex hip fins for greater load stability and a more central positioning of the pack.

Comfort and Stability

The ECL (ergonomic comfort lock) system transfers the load effectively onto the hips. The Y-shaped aluminum frame gives the pack stability and, combined with the breathable Air Spacer mesh on the Aircontact back system, generates maximum airflow across the back.
