The water-repellent Raincover Mini with PU coating and taped seams keeps out moisture. It comes in two colors (designed to match the activity at hand) and with reflective detailing for improved visbility. Secured with an elasticated hem, this rain cover is designed for small day packs up to 22 liters and children's backpacks.

Material

70D PA

The finely woven 70 denier polyamide fabric is used for Deuter rain covers. It is lightweight, packs into a small space and provides excellent protection from the rain thanks to its PU coating.

D stands for Denier and describes the linear mass of the yarn: 9,000 m of 600D yarn weighs 600 g. The denier value alone does not indicate how robust the finished fabric is.PES stands for polyester.PA stands for polyamide (nylon).

Made without intentionally added PFAS

PFAS, sometimes also referred to as PFCs, have been used in outdoor textile finishes for their water-, dirt-, and greaserepellent properties. Many PFAS are highly persistent and can accumulate in the environment over time.

Since 2020, deuter has used DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finishes without intentionally added PFAS. These finishes are selected in line with deuter’s chemical management requirements and applicable product safety standards.
