In 2026, you’ll ride through alpine terrain with challenging trails, tough climbs and real hike-and-bike sections. Guided by deuter Pro Team rider Holger Meyer, you’ll explore the mountains with a small group and gain valuable skills for riding safely in alpine terrain. Expect intense days, fresh inspiration and an experience beyond a classic tour.

Holger Meyer – Your guide on site
Holger Meyer is part of the MTB guide group “Die Rasenmäher,” known for challenging alpine tours. With his experience in alpine terrain, he accompanies you throughout the tour and shares valuable insights to help you progress and ride with confidence.

Requirements for participants
The deuter Trail Attack 2026 is a challenging multi-day MTB tour in alpine terrain. You should have good endurance, experience on technical trails (min. S3 level), and be comfortable with longer rides. Hike & bike sections are part of the route, so you should be confident carrying your bike and moving safely in alpine terrain. A fully mountain bike and protective gear (helmet, pads) are required.(see FAQ)
Participation is limited to residents of Germany, Austria, and Switzerland (DACH region).

Made for demanding MTB rides
The deuter Attack combines a compact, secure fit with a removable TPE back protector, developed in collaboration with RE ZRO®, for reliable protection on technical trails. The breathable Airstripes back system ensures effective ventilation, even on demanding climbs. What makes it stand out: the Carrying Guard lets you carry your bike safely and comfortably – ideal for alpine hike & bike sections.

The deuter Trail Attack will take place from July 15-18, 2026.
To take part, you need to meet the following requirements:
- Participation is limited to residents of Germany, Austria, and Switzerland (DACH region).
- MTB riding skills: level S2–S3 (red to black trails)
- Good physical fitness (ability to ride 1,000–1,500 hm per day)
- Ability to handle 500 hm hike-a-bike sections
- Own enduro mountain bike (approx. 150 mm travel, max. 13–14 kg)
- Willingness to ride in alpine terrain with lift and shuttle support
Required protective gear:
- helmet (half-shell)
- knee & elbow pads
- bike sunglasses
- long finger gloves
- Travel to and from the event
- Food & drinks outside the included meals, and all alcoholic beverages
- Personal equipment beyond the required gear list
- Insurance beyond what is provided by deuter Personal expenses (e.g. souvenirs, private purchases)
- No participation = no product handover
Please consider the self-contribution of €199 as covering only a part of a package worth approx. €1,050. All additional costs are at your own expense.
