Terms and Conditions
Participation in the deuter Trail Attack activation to take place August 28 - 30th, 2026 (“the Event”) organised by deuter Sport GmbH, Daimlerstraße 23, 86368 Gersthofen, Germany (hereinafter referred to as the “Organiser”) is governed exclusively by these Terms and Conditions. Participation in the Event is subject to selection. There are a total of six spots available for the Event. Three winning Entrants will be selected at random, and each winning Entrant will be permitted to bring one guest participant (collectively referred to as "the Participants") to the Event.
Eligibility
Those eligible to participate are natural persons residing in the United Kingdom who are at least 18 years of age, hereinafter referred to as “Entrants”. Entry is not limited to customers of the Organiser and is not contingent upon the purchase of any goods or services. Employees of the Organiser and its affiliated companies, as well as their family members, are not eligible to participate in this draw. Furthermore, the Organiser reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to exclude individuals from participation if there are valid reasons to do so, for example:
a) in the event of manipulation related to the conduct of the contest,
b) in the event of violations of these Terms and Conditions,
c) in the event of false or misleading information in connection with participation in the contest.
To participate in the Event, Entrants and if selected, Participants, are expected and required to possess confident mountain bike handling skills and experience on technical trails, jumps and fast demanding red and black bike park trails. Participants must be in good general health and must not suffer from any acute respiratory illnesses, cardiovascular diseases, or musculoskeletal pain. Therefore, Participants confirm that they are physically fit to complete in such demanding conditions and are not aware of any health restrictions that would prevent their participation in the Event. Helmets are mandatory for the entire duration of the riding tour. Cycling gloves and additional protective gear (including knee and elbow pads) are strongly recommended. Participants must bring their own appropriate equipment. Participants will have the choice of using an Atherton branded bike, provided by DYFI Bike Park. Similarly, Participants will have the option to bring their own suitable enduro mountain bike (approx. 150 mm suspension travel, max. 13–14 kg).
Participants further confirm that they will immediately inform the Organiser should any health-related issues arise between confirmation of participation and the start of the Event.
Participation
Entry is made by completing the online registration form in full on the landing page at deuter.com.
Only fully completed entry forms will be entered into the prize draw. By submitting the entry form, Entrants accept these terms and conditions. Entry is only possible until the entry deadline. Entries received after the entry deadline will not be considered.
The promotional period for participating in the prize draw to participate in the Event begins on May 25th, 2026, at 12:01 a.m. (BST) and ends on June 10th, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. (BST).
Only one submitted entry per Entrant will be entered into the prize draw. Each entry will count towards two places to the Event, as each winner will be able to bring an additional guest participant. All T&Cs are relevant to the additional guest participant.
Package, Notification, and Participation Details
The Event package includes:
A total of 6 places in the Event will be made available as part of this activation. There will be three selected winners, who will each be able to bring one guest participant.
Each of the Participants will receive the following package:
- 2 day passes for the Dyfi Bike Park
- 2 nights stay
- Breakfast, lunch and dinner
- Non-alcoholic beverages
- Each Participant will receive one of the following products of their choice:
- Attack 16
- Attack 14 SL
- Attack 20 Atherton - Each Participant will receive a deuter Streamer 3.0 hydration system
- Arrival and departure by public transport (excluding flights)
All Entrants understand that participation in the Event is at the Participant’s own risk. The program is subject to change due to weather, safety, or organisational reasons. Participants will be selected via random draw.
Selected participants will be informed via email within two weeks after the application deadline on June 10th, 2026. If a selected Participant does not confirm participation or confirm the requested details within the specified timeframe of June 12th - June 17th, 2026, the Organiser reserves the right to select a replacement. Entrants who are not selected will not receive individual notification.
The winning Participant’s spots are personal and non-transferable. They cannot be exchanged, transferred to another person, or redeemed for cash. A cash payment of the participation value is excluded.
The Participants are responsible for any personal tax obligations that may arise in connection with participation in the Event.
The Organiser reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to provide a reasonable substitute of equivalent value if any element of the Participator's package described in these Terms and Conditions is unavailable or cannot be delivered in whole or in part for any reason. If the actual value of any included components is lower than any stated reference value, no cash compensation will be provided. The Organiser makes no representations or warranties regarding the appearance, safety, or quality of any included products or services. Restrictions, conditions, and limitations may apply. The Organiser is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Should the organisation or execution of the Event not be possible due to circumstances beyond the Organiser’s control, including but not limited to force majeure, health-related crises, or official restrictions (e.g., pandemic-related measures), the Participant’s place in the Event may be postponed or cancelled. In such cases, there is no entitlement to alternative dates, replacement services, reimbursement of the participation fee, or reimbursement of any additional personal expenses (e.g., travel costs). The Organiser will ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations in effect at the time and location of the Event and reserves the right to implement additional measures to ensure the safety of all Participants.
The Participant may withdraw from the Event at any time prior to the start of the Event. The withdrawal must be declared in writing and becomes effective upon receipt. In the circumstances that a winning Participant withdraws from the Event, the winning Participant understands that their guest participant will also be withdrawn from the Event and the spots offered to another Entrant. In the event of a last-minute withdrawal from the Event, the right to participate in the Event expires. A rebooking is not possible.
Termination of the Contest
The Organiser expressly reserves the right to interrupt or terminate this draw at any time without prior notice and without stating reasons, or to amend these terms and conditions of participation, if this is necessary for practical reasons and the adjustment is reasonable for the participants.
Data Protection
Providing personal data is necessary to participate in the contest. The Entrant warrants that the personal information provided, in particular first name, last name, and email address, is truthful and accurate. Participants may be asked to provide additional personal data, such as their postal address, as part of the participation confirmation process after the selection has taken place. This information is required for organisational purposes related to the Event. The collection and processing of personal data is used exclusively for the purpose of conducting the prize draw. All data will be stored solely for the purpose and duration of the draw and deleted upon the conclusion of the promotion, provided there are no legal retention obligations. The Organiser will only disclose the data to parties involved in the execution of the Event, provided this is absolutely necessary for its execution.
In the event of selection for a winning Participant’s spot in the Event, the selected Participants agree that their name may be used in promotional communications by the Organiser. This includes the announcement of selected Participants on the Organiser’s social media channels, as well as coverage during and after the Event via the Organiser’s social media platforms.
Entrants may at any time request information about their data stored by the Organiser, object to the use of their data, and request its deletion. To do so, simply send a written request to deuter Sport GmbH, Daimlerstraße 23, 86368 Gersthofen.

Granting of Rights by the selected participants
By participating in the prize draw, participants agree to grant the Organiser, free of charge in the event of selection as a Participant, the right to use photographs, images, videos, or audio recordings of the participants taken at the Event for publication and communication purposes related to the prize draw, as well as for further commercial use, e.g., in the context of advertisements, even after the draw and Event has ended. The grant of the right of use is granted in perpetuity.
Meta Disclaimer
The draw is not affiliated with Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and is in no way sponsored, supported, or organised by Meta (Facebook/Instagram). The Organiser is the sole contact and responsible party.
Liability
By entering the draw or registering for the Event, Participants agree to the following basic rules and terms of use:
- They participate voluntarily.
- They comply with applicable laws and traffic regulations (STVO) at all times.
- They acknowledge the guidance and authority of the guides, follow their instructions, and adhere to the rules of DYFI Bike Park.
- Participation is at the Participants’ own discretion at all times, and they participate at their own risk.
- They use a road-safe bicycle and wear a suitable helmet (CE standard must be met)
- They hold private liability insurance. (Accident insurance is recommended.)
- The Organiser assumes no liability for health risks associated with the event or for damages occurring before, during, or after the event. This excludes damages resulting from intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty.
- The risks of participation are known. These include (among others): Collisions with other people, vehicles, objects, etc. Participants are also aware of dangers arising from the nature of the route, equipment failure, weather conditions, or insufficient safety equipment, accessories, or materials.
Applicable Law
This activation is governed exclusively by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Legal action is excluded.
Severability Clause
Should any provision of these Terms and Conditions be or become invalid in whole or in part, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a legally permissible provision that most closely approximates the economic intent and purpose expressed in the invalid provision. The same applies in the event of a loophole in these Terms and Conditions.
