We are responding to the demand for sustainable outdoor gear: some of our lifestyle backpacks for men are made from recycled materials. The fabrics used in the UP series daypacks, for example, are made from 100% recycled plastic bottles. Depending on the size of the rucksack, this equates to up to 40 PET bottles. This allows us to save up to 50% CO2 and a significant amount of water and crude oil in the production of our men’s daypacks. An eco-friendly water-repellent treatment, which is completely free of PFAS, protects your daypack from rain and splashes, which simply roll off the outer surface. 

As a bluesign® system partner, deuter consistently pursues environmentally friendly and resource-efficient production of its products – from eco-friendly materials right through to the durable end product. Some of our daypacks for men, such as the UP models, the Stepout, Innsbruck and Lake Placid, have been awarded the bluesign® product label. This means that deuter guarantees the lowest possible impact on people and the environment during production, the responsible use of resources and the highest level of safety for the consumer.

The compartment layout is specially designed to meet the needs of commuters. The main compartment can hold everything you need on the go – even for a long day out. The padded compartment fits your laptop or tablet. There are additional compartments on the inside of the backpack for your valuables and important documents. You can easily organise your smartphone, charging cable and pen in the practical organiser with an integrated key clip.

Special polyester fabric and yarn are interwoven to form the basis of your men's backpack: an extremely tear-resistant surface. Airstripes System 

We equip our sporty lifestyle backpacks for men with the Airstripes back system. The carrying system was originally developed for bike backpacks. It therefore guarantees a wobble-free fit and good ventilation. Two strips on the back are covered with breathable padding and run parallel to the spine. The channel between the two pads ensures ventilation and a dry back.

Large EL range: 

Larger backpacks are often sought after as daypacks. For taller backpackers, we offer the perfect fit with the EL models. The Extra Long version is specially tailored for people between 1.85 and 2.00 metres tall. That’s why we’ve extended the men’s daypacks in the EL line, such as the Giga EL, by 6 cm to 9 cm. What’s more, the EL models also impress with their larger capacity!
