Terms and conditions of participation in deuter Run & Roam
Terms and conditions
To participate in the deuter Run & Roam Trail Running Camp organised by deuter Sport GmbH, Daimlerstraße 23, 86368 Gersthofen, hereinafter referred to as the ‘organiser’, a contribution of €199 must be paid and is governed exclusively by these terms and conditions.
socialPALS GmbH acts on behalf of the Organiser in carrying out the activation, but is not obliged to provide any services of its own.
Eligible participants
Eligible participants are natural persons residing in Germany, Austria and Switzerland who are at least 18 years of age, hereinafter referred to as ‘Participants’.
Participation is not restricted to customers of the organiser and is not dependent on the purchase of goods or services. Employees of the organiser, socialPALS GmbH and their affiliated companies, as well as their family members, are not eligible to participate in the deuter Run & Roam Camp.
In addition, the organiser reserves the right to exclude persons from participation at its own discretion if there are justified reasons, for example
a) in the event of manipulation in connection with the conduct of the prize draw among those registered,
b) in the event of violations of these conditions of participation,
c) in the event of false or misleading information in connection with registration and participation in the prize draw among registered participants.
To win the prize (4-day trail running event including accommodation), participants must be in good physical condition (sure-footed in alpine terrain, good basic endurance and experience with longer trail running routes in the mountains). Participants must also be physically healthy and have no cardiovascular diseases or pain in the musculoskeletal system. In addition, all participants should bring their own running shoes with a firm and non-slip tread and their own running clothing. Participants confirm that they are fit to travel under these conditions and that they are not aware of any health restrictions that would prevent them from participating in the trip.
Accompanying persons
Participation in this event is intended for individuals only. Accompanying persons are not permitted to bring along or participate. Each participant must take part in the event individually and independently. We ask for your understanding regarding this rule in order to ensure that the event runs smoothly, is an enjoyable experience and that there is a good staff-to-participant ratio for all participants.
Participation
Only fully completed entry forms will be entered into the draw for the 16 places. By submitting the entry form, participants accept these terms and conditions. Participation is only possible until the closing date. Entries received after the closing date will not be considered.
The promotional period for participation in the draw for the 16 places begins on 2 March 2026 at 0:01 a.m. (Berlin time) and ends on 12 April 2026 at 11:59 p.m. (Berlin time).
Only one submitted registration per participant will be entered into the prize draw.
Participation, notification and transmission of information regarding participation
The following prizes will be awarded:
We are giving away 16 x 1 place to participate in the deuter Run & Roam weekend from 2 to 5 July 2026, worth approximately £799, among all registered participants.
The deuter Run & Roam 2026 from 2 to 5 July 2026 includes three nights' accommodation at the Aktivhotel Edelweiß on Lake Reschen, including full board (breakfast, dinner and snacks during the camp), professional support from coaches and athletes, participation in the Reschen stage of the Terra Raetica Trail (18 km / 1700 m elevation gain), a goodie bag and the deuter Trail Running Traick running vest including matching drinking accessories.
The package does not include travel to and from the venue, alcoholic beverages, or food and drinks outside of the included full board. There is a personal contribution of €199 for accommodation, which must be paid directly to the Aktivhotel Edelweiß.
Participation is expressly at your own risk. Depending on weather and route conditions, there may be adjustments to the schedule.
The 16 participants will be determined by a draw from among all registered participants after the closing date for entries. The jury will be made up of representatives of the organiser.
The winners of the draw will be notified by the organiser by email within two weeks of the closing date for entries. In the event of an undeliverable notification, the organiser is not obliged to make further enquiries and may select a new winner. If the winner does not respond within one week of notification, the organiser is also entitled to select a new winner.
If participants do not receive any notification within 4 weeks of the closing date for entries, it can be assumed that all places have already been allocated. Participation in the deuter Run & Roam Trail Running Camp is exclusively for the winners of the prize draw. The prize cannot be transferred, exchanged, collected in person or paid out in cash.
Participants are responsible for any taxation on the value of the camp.
The organiser reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to award a substitute product of reasonable value if a product described in these official rules is unavailable or cannot be awarded in whole or in part for any reason. If the actual value of the product is less than any retail price stated, the difference will not be paid out in cash. The organiser makes no representations or warranties regarding the appearance, safety or quality of the products. Restrictions, conditions and limitations may apply. The organiser will not replace any lost or stolen products.
If, due to the dynamic developments of a pandemic, such as an increasing number of infections and new coronavirus measures, it is not possible to organise or participate in the deuter Run & Roam Camp, the right to participate may be forfeited. The organiser will require compliance with the health regulations applicable at the event location for participation in the event and reserves the right to apply stricter rules to protect the health of all participants. In such cases, there shall be no entitlement to replacement prizes or payment of the value of the prize, alternative dates and/or reimbursement of travel expenses already incurred.
End of the registration period
The organiser expressly reserves the right to interrupt or terminate the registration period at any time without prior notice and without giving reasons, or to amend these conditions of participation.
Data protection
Personal data must be provided in order to register and thereby participate in the prize draw among all registered participants. The participant assures that the personal information they have provided, in particular their first name, surname and email address, is true and correct. In the case of non-cash prizes, further personal data, such as address and sizes, will be requested from the winners after the draw as part of the participation notification. The collection and processing of personal data is used exclusively for the purpose of running the deuter RUn & Roam Trail Running Camp and, if necessary, for sending the products. All data will only be stored for the purpose and duration of the promotion and will be deleted after the promotion has ended, provided that there are no legal retention obligations. The organiser will only pass on the data to Social Pals GmbH and the parties involved in running the camp, provided that this is absolutely necessary for the promotion to take place.
In the event of participation, the participant agrees to the publication of their name and place of residence in the advertising media used by the organiser. This includes the announcement of the participant on the organiser's website and social media platforms, as well as reporting during and after the event (weekend from Thursday to Sunday) via the organiser's social media platforms and print media.
Participants may obtain information about their data stored by the organiser at any time, object to the use of their data and request its deletion. To do so, simply write to deuter Sport GmbH, Daimlerstraße 23, 86368 Gersthofen, Germany.

Granting of rights by participants
By participating in the deuter Run & Roam Trail Running Camp, participants agree to grant the organiser the right to use photographs, images, videos or audio recordings of the participants free of charge for publication and communication purposes in relation to the Run & Roam Trail Running Camp. The right of use is granted for an unlimited period of time. Consent can be revoked at any time by simply writing to deuter Sport GmbH, Daimlerstraße 23, 86368 Gersthofen.
Facebook disclaimer
The activation is not connected to Facebook/Instagram and is in no way sponsored, supported or organised by Facebook/Instagram. The organiser is the sole contact and responsible party.
Liability
The organiser is not liable for damages caused by errors, delays or interruptions in transmission, malfunctions of technical equipment and services, incorrect content, loss or deletion of data, viruses or in any other way during participation in the activation or through participation in the deuter Run & Roam Trail Running Camp, unless such damage was caused intentionally or through gross negligence by the organiser (its organs, employees or vicarious agents). The above limitation of liability does not apply in the event of injury to life, limb or health, or in the event of fraudulently concealed defects.
Applicable law
The prize draw for the 16 places at the Run & ROam Trail Running Camp is subject exclusively to the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Legal recourse is excluded.
Severability clause
Should any provision of these conditions of participation be or become invalid in whole or in part, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a legally permissible provision that comes closest to the economic purpose of the invalid provision. The same applies in the event of a loophole in these conditions of participation.
