The reduced contact surface of the Airstripes back system and airy, quick-drying Air Spacer mesh against the back combined with perforated shoulder straps and hip fins ensure maximum airflow, even weight distribution and a snug, secure fit on multi-day via ferrata (fixed-rope) routes. Loops on the shoulder straps keep via ferrata set carabiners close at hand. And a large zipper opening, stretch side pockets and a separate bottom compartment mean your gear is organized and easy to access.

Made without intentionally added PFAS
PFAS, sometimes also referred to as PFCs, have been used in outdoor textile finishes for their water-, dirt-, and greaserepellent properties. Many PFAS are highly persistent and can accumulate in the environment over time.
Since 2020, deuter has used DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finishes without intentionally added PFAS. These finishes are selected in line with deuter’s chemical management requirements and applicable product safety standards.
