Material

100D PA Ripstop

An extremely light polyamide fabric with a marked honeycomb structure. This 100 denier fabric is used in our seriously weight-reduced backpacks, the 210 denier version in the bike backpacks. The reinforcement yarns woven into the honeycomb structure increase the tear resistance and thus provide the thin textile with stability. PU coating inside.

D stands for Denier and describes the linear mass of the yarn: 9,000 m of 600D yarn weighs 600 g. The denier value alone does not indicate how robust the finished fabric is.PES stands for polyester.PA stands for polyamide (nylon).

The shape is streamlined for less wind resistance, with space for a light rain shell, first aid kit and valuables only.

The pack's narrow shape and lack of waist belt make it easy to access the cycling jersey pocket.

Backsystem

CONTACT

Body-hugging soft stripe pads follow movements and keep the load close to the body's center of gravity - essential for balance and stability. The channel between the pads provides extra comfort by creating a "chimney" effect ventilation.
The VariQuick system allows an easy, quick adjustment to the individual child’s back length and enables the pack to grow with them year after year.
Load adjustor straps on the shoulder straps serve to fine-tune the load according to the terrain.
Supple padded hip fins with pull forward adjustment distribute the load evenly and efficiently

Made without intentionally added PFAS

PFAS, sometimes also referred to as PFCs, have been used in outdoor textile finishes for their water-, dirt-, and greaserepellent properties. Many PFAS are highly persistent and can accumulate in the environment over time.

Since 2020, deuter has used DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finishes without intentionally added PFAS. These finishes are selected in line with deuter’s chemical management requirements and applicable product safety standards.
