This comfortable day pack features the ultra-light Aircomfort back system with maximum ventilation and offers an excellent comfort-to-weight ratio. It has a spacious main compartment and dedicated cell phone pocket, stretch side pockets, lid compartments and gear loops to strap poles and a range of gear to the outside of the pack. Prepped to accommodate a mesh helmet holder and hydration system (up to 3 L) and comes with a detachable rain cover.

SUSTAINABLE: 50 % of the yarn is used from recycled raw materials. The main material of the consists of bluesign® certified material.
  • D stands for Denier – a unit of measurement for yarn weight. 600D means that 9,000 meters of yarn weigh 600 grams. The higher the value, the more robust (and often heavier) the material.
  • PES stands for Polyester. Polyester fibers are highly tear- and abrasion-resistant, easy to care for, and absorb very little moisture.
  • PA stands for Polyamide (also known as nylon). Polyamide fibers are especially durable, elastic, and lightweight – ideal for textiles subject to high stress.
  • REC stands for Recycled – the material is made entirely or partially from recycled resources.
  • BS stands for bluesign®-certified – the material has been produced in an environmentally friendly and sustainable way according to the bluesign® standard.

Made without intentionally added PFAS

PFAS, sometimes also referred to as PFCs, have been used in outdoor textile finishes for their water-, dirt-, and greaserepellent properties. Many PFAS are highly persistent and can accumulate in the  environment over time.

Since 2020, deuter has used DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finishes without intentionally added PFAS. These finishes are selected in line with deuter’s chemical management requirements and applicable product safety standards.

The product description states that this pack has mesh side pockets. That would imply that there is more than one. Wrong....there is only one mesh side pocket. I was hoping to receive a pack that could hold a water bottle on one side and my z poles on the other side pocket. So it was dissapointing for me that the product is not properly described by Deuter. Otherwise the pack looks to be very well built.
