Il supporto isolante per il tubo di idratazione e la valvola impedisce il congelamento dei liquidi all'interno del tubo a basse temperature. È attaccato alle tracolle dello zaino tramite linguette hook & loop. L'apertura con cerniera ne semplifica e velocizza il fissaggio al tubo quando è in posizione.
- D stands for Denier – a unit of measurement for yarn weight. 600D means that 9,000 meters of yarn weigh 600 grams. The higher the value, the more robust (and often heavier) the material.
- PES stands for Polyester. Polyester fibers are highly tear- and abrasion-resistant, easy to care for, and absorb very little moisture.
- PA stands for Polyamide (also known as nylon). Polyamide fibers are especially durable, elastic, and lightweight – ideal for textiles subject to high stress.
- REC stands for Recycled – the material is made entirely or partially from recycled resources.
- BS stands for bluesign®-certified – the material has been produced in an environmentally friendly and sustainable way according to the bluesign® standard.

Questo prodotto è stato realizzato da noi senza l'utilizzo di sostanze chimiche per- e polifluorurate. In questo modo si riduce l'uso di sostanze dannose per l'ambiente e la salute.
I PFAS vengono utilizzati, tra l'altro, come rivestimento per la protezione dalla pioggia, in quanto hanno proprietà idrorepellenti, antisporco e antigrasso.
Deuter utilizza invece l'impregnazione DWR (Durable Water Repellency), innocua per la salute e rispettosa dell'ambiente.
