We work with organisations and initiatives to exchange knowledge, develop shared solutions and support environmental and social projects.
Dialogue and Impact for Sustainable Textiles – DST
DST – formerly the Partnership for Sustainable Textiles, or BNT – is a German multi-stakeholder initiative involving companies, government, trade unions, civil-society organisations and standards organisations.
It enables members to exchange knowledge and work jointly on supply-chain challenges that individual companies cannot solve alone.
deuter has participated since 2015. The company regularly exchanges information with the DST/GIZ coordination office and contributes to a working group developing the Letter of Intent further. Its involvement has also included joint work on grievance mechanisms at material and fabric suppliers in Vietnam.
The European Outdoor Group is an industry association representing companies in the European outdoor sector.
It enables outdoor companies to exchange knowledge and develop common approaches to shared environmental and social challenges.
deuter participates in the EOG’s Carbon Reduction Project (CRP), contributing to several working groups, including different cohorts and the Trims working group. deuter is also part of the Taiwan Renewable Energy working group, which is currently in the planning phase.
EOCA is a non-profit association through which outdoor-industry companies jointly fund nature conservation projects.
Membership enables deuter to support conservation work selected and managed by organisations with relevant expertise.
deuter joined EOCA in 2006 as its first German outdoor-equipment member. In addition to its annual membership contribution, deuter supports selected projects and activities. In 2026, deuter UK organised the Yr Wyddfa Big Clean Up with EOCA and the British Mountaineering Council for the second consecutive year. Part of deuter’s 2025 Green Week proceeds supported the previous clean-up; another project is expected to be selected in 2026.
Protect Our Winters is a non-profit climate organisation that mobilises the outdoor community and industry to support climate action.
Its focus on climate policy and lower-emission mobility is connected with deuter’s climate objectives and the interests of the outdoor community.
deuter supports POW Europe and communicates shared goals, including more climate-conscious travel. The current website does not describe the financial or operational scope of the partnership.
Through the 1% for the Planet product programme, deuter supports the certified One Earth – One Ocean (OEOO) project “Clean Water for the Irrawaddy Dolphins” in Cambodia, which removes plastic waste from the upper Mekong and helps protect the habitat of the endangered dolphins.
deuter contributes 10% of sales from its Infiniti series to the project. OEOO’s clean-up centre in Kratie collects and processes waste from the river.
deuter has worked with Nepalhilfe Beilngries since 2013, supporting education and social infrastructure in Nepal. Together, they have implemented three projects: a primary school in Kathmandu, funded by deuter with €30,000; a school and community centre in the remote Dolpo region; and the current financing of a school bus for people with disabilities.
The bus provides transport from their homes to schools and medical appointments. deuter is supporting the project with €10,000 per year through the 2027/28 financial year.
For more than ten years, deuter has supported St. Gregor, a regional non-profit organisation working with children, young people and families in Augsburg.
Each year, deuter finances a holiday programme for the “Schildbürger” boys’ residential group. Children from another St. Gregor group create motifs for deuter’s digital Christmas cards, which are shared with customers.
