The Schmusebär is a classic among children’s backpacks, reliably accompanying little explorers to kindergarten, on day trips and during their first adventures. With just one buckle and a child-friendly drawstring closure on the main compartment, it is easy to open and close.
The lid pocket and elasticated side pockets provide space for little treasures and favourite essentials. Reflective prints improve visibility on the way. Thanks to the height-adjustable chest strap, the shoulder straps stay securely in place even during active adventures.

Made without intentionally added PFAS
PFAS, sometimes also referred to as PFCs, have been used in outdoor textile finishes for their water-, dirt-, and greaserepellent properties. Many PFAS are highly persistent and can accumulate in the environment over time.
Since 2020, deuter has used DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finishes without intentionally added PFAS. These finishes are selected in line with deuter’s chemical management requirements and applicable product safety standards.
