deuter is giving away a support package for aspiring mountain guides

We want to support aspiring mountain guides on their way towards the mountains and the responsibility that comes with it.

Have you successfully passed the entrance exams for mountain guide training?

We invite you to take the next step in your journey. Among all eligible applications, one support package per participating country will be raffled off to accompany you on your path to becoming a mountain guide.* Applications are open until October 15, 2026.

*Open to residents of Germany, Austria, Switzerland and France aged 18+. One prize package per country.

Requirements for participants

Open to aspiring mountain guides who successfully passed both their winter (Ski) as well as their summer (Rock/Ice) entrance exams between January 2025 and October 2026.  
Proof of both exams must be provided during application.

Eligibility: Germany, Austria, Switzerland and France, minimum age 18.
One support package will be awarded per participating country.

Application period: June 1, 2026 – October 15, 2026.

If you are selected, deuter will reimburse you for the exam fees you have already paid for the two entrance exams (Winter/Ski & Summer/Rock/Ice) for the mountain guide training course. The exact amount depends on the country in question.

Your support package also includes a deuter Guide backpack, a deuter Astro Pro sleeping bag, and a deuter first aid kit.

The reimbursement amounts stated are based on the examination fees currently published by the respective training institutions. Fees are subject to change and actual costs may vary.

If you have successfully passed the entrance exams for the mountain guide training course, you are warmly invited to take part in the prize draw. Both the winter and summer entrance exams must have been successfully completed within the eligible period (January 2025 – 15 October 2026).

The competition is open to residents of Germany, Austria, Switzerland and France who are aged 18 or over. There is one prize package per country.
