The UP Stockholm is environmentally conscious when out and about in the city.

Because it fulfills the functions of a city backpack and provides a great contribution to the environment with its resource-saving production. On the one hand, the UP Stockholm is made of recycled materials - from approx. 35 PET bottles (0.5 liters). All materials are produced according to the bluesign® standard. • D stands for Denier – a unit of measurement for yarn weight. 600D means that 9,000 meters of yarn weigh 600 grams. The higher the value, the more robust (and often heavier) the material.
  • PES stands for Polyester. Polyester fibers are highly tear- and abrasion-resistant, easy to care for, and absorb very little moisture.
  • PA stands for Polyamide (also known as nylon). Polyamide fibers are especially durable, elastic, and lightweight – ideal for textiles subject to high stress.
  • REC stands for Recycled – the material is made entirely or partially from recycled resources.
  • BS stands for bluesign®-certified – the material has been produced in an environmentally friendly and sustainable way according to the bluesign® standard.
