Backsystem
ALPINE
Good Ventilation
thanks to channels between the back padding, covered in breathable mesh fabric.
Compact fit
thanks to the body-hugging ergonomics of the back padding and carry system.
The benefits
The solid, secure fit makes it easier to maintain balance, even in challenging terrain, and make controlled movements. The ergonomics and reliable ventilation also add to the carrying comfort.
SL Women’s Fit
This model is also available in the SL version. The SL back length is specific for women: on average, women have shorter backs than men. The carrying system in the SL model is therefore somewhat shorter than in the deuter standard backpacks. In addition, the carrying system is specially adapted to the female anatomy. Developed with Tamara Lunger
Made without intentionally added PFAS
PFAS, sometimes also referred to as PFCs, have been used in outdoor textile finishes for their water-, dirt-, and greaserepellent properties. Many PFAS are highly persistent and can accumulate in the environment over time.
Since 2020, deuter has used DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finishes without intentionally added PFAS. These finishes are selected in line with deuter’s chemical management requirements and applicable product safety standards.
