Ideal usage
- D stands for Denier – a unit of measurement for yarn weight. 600D means that 9,000 meters of yarn weigh 600 grams. The higher the value, the more robust (and often heavier) the material.
- PES stands for Polyester. Polyester fibers are highly tear- and abrasion-resistant, easy to care for, and absorb very little moisture.
- PA stands for Polyamide (also known as nylon). Polyamide fibers are especially durable, elastic, and lightweight – ideal for textiles subject to high stress.
- REC stands for Recycled – the material is made entirely or partially from recycled resources.
- BS stands for bluesign®-certified – the material has been produced in an environmentally friendly and sustainable way according to the bluesign® standard.

- Body-hugging soft stripe pads follow movements and keep the load close to the body's center of gravity - essential for balance and stability. The channel between the pads provides extra comfort by creating a "chimney" effect ventilation.
- The VariQuick system allows an easy, quick adjustment to the individual child’s back length and enables the pack to grow with them year after year.
- Load adjustor straps on the shoulder straps serve to fine-tune the load according to the terrain.

This product has been manufactured by deuter without the use of per- and polyfluorinated chemicals with the aim of reducing reliance on substances that are harmful to the environment and health.
PFAS are used, among other things, as a waterproofing finish due to their water, dirt and grease-repellent properties.
deuter now uses an environmentally friendly DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish that is harmless to human and animal health.

Der Rucksack ist gut verarbeitet. Der beabsichtigte Einsatzzweck: Auf Gravel-/Rennradtouren einen Trinkrucksack mit mehr als 1,5, aber weniger als 3 Liter Trinkblasenvolumen zu verwenden. Also: Trinkblase 2L (Deuter v2) + Brille am Gurt + DJI Action 5 am Gurt + hinten Sony a 6300/6500 mit 50/85mm Objektiv + Regen-/Windjacke + Merino T-Shirt + EC/Kreditkarte und Geldschein + 2 Riegel + "Minipflegetasche" (Pflaster + kl. Zahnbürste, 3 Zahnpastastückchen, SeaToSummit Ultralight Handtuch "S". Dann ist der kl. Rucksack auch vollends gefüllt. (Den Regenschutz in der kl. Tasche unten im Rucksack habe ich ebenfalls drin gelassen, kann aber bei eindeutig trockenen Verhältnissen weggelassen werden oder unten als "Schmutzwäschefach" dienen.) Urteil nach 3 Fahrten mit ca. 60 und 80km Länge auf Straße und Wald-/Feldwegen: Der Rucksack kann oben genanntes gut transportieren, auch wenn ein größerer/stabilerer dies komfortabler kann. (Mein Deuter TransAlpine 28+ z.B.) Jedoch dann mit deutlich erhöhtem Eigengewicht. Bequem ist es meiner Meinung nach aber nur mit der 2L Trinkblase und dann max Regenjacke und T-Shirt sowie ein paar Geldscheinen. Aller weitere verändert die "Form" bzw. den Tragekomfort. Es "geht" allerdings durchaus auch "voll". Nur kann ich mir in diesem Zustand keine 200km oder mehr pro Tag vorstellen (und dafür war er mit der Trinkblase vorrangig gedacht + dann noch eine Oberrohrtasche.=2-3 Tage Tour mit Minimalausstattung.) Er ist allerdgins in meinen Augen kein von Anfang an als Trinkrucksack vorgesehener Kandidat. Hier ist die Schlauchführung sowohl im Inneren, als auch beim Austritt und ebenfall extern verlaufend stark verbesserungwürdig. Der Trinkschlauch hat keine Führung. Direkt "im Schultertragegurt spürt man ihn eindeutig. und dann baumelt der Schlauch wild umher. Mit eigenem Umbau/Erweiterung passt das schon. Aber ein Einsatz, der vorrangig als Trinkrucksack gedacht war, wird bei mir nicht erfüllt. Hier gibt es deutlich bessere und sogar leichtere Rucksäcke, die dann aber wiederum nicht die Flexibiltät des Deuter´s haben, ihn auch als reinen Transportrucksack zu nutzen. Wer ein leichtes Multitalent sucht und ihn nicht als alleinigen Hauptzweck als Trinkrucksack einsetzen möchte, sondern nur die 2x im Jahr für eine lange Tour, wird damit sicherlich sehr zufrieden sein.

Das Rennradfahren mit Rucksack hat einen schlechten Ruf - zu recht….. mit diesem Rucksack sicher nicht! Er sitzt perfekt auf dem Rücken, die Größe ist genau richtig für lange bis sehr lange Touren, oder aber auch die Fahrt zur Arbeit. Verarbeitet in gewohnter sehr guter Deuter Qualität. Aerodynamisch verbrennt er sicher kein Watt zuviel. Also ich bin Mega zufrieden und würde gerne mehr Leute mit „Rennrad-Rucksack“ sehen.
