- D stands for Denier – a unit of measurement for yarn weight. 600D means that 9,000 meters of yarn weigh 600 grams. The higher the value, the more robust (and often heavier) the material.

The LiteSnow back system is comfortable and moisture resistant while offering a snug, solid fit when moving through high-focus alpine terrain. That’s down to the snow-shedding design and technical materials. The special shape of the back padding with recesses between the EVA foam covered in Spandex material means that snow cannot stick to it, which prevents moisture from penetrating and results in all-day carrying comfort.

SL Women’s Fit
This model is also available in the SL version. The SL back length is specific for women: on average, women have shorter backs than men. The carrying system in the SL model is therefore somewhat shorter than in the deuter standard backpacks. In addition, the carrying system is specially adapted to the female anatomy. The Green Button is a government-run certification label for sustainable textiles. Everyone who aims to purchase socially and environmentally sustainable clothes should look out for the Green Button. There is currently no other label like the Green Button. It demands that mandatory standards are met to protect people and the environment. Made without PFAS
This product has been manufactured by deuter without the use of per- and polyfluorinated chemicals with the aim of reducing reliance on substances that are harmful to the environment and health.
PFAS are used, among other things, as a waterproofing finish due to their water, dirt and grease-repellent properties.
deuter now uses an environmentally friendly DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish that is harmless to human and animal health.
The shell fabrics are made of 100% recycled yarn
Thanks to resource-efficient production methods making recycled synthetic fibers generally requires less CO2, less energy and crude oil compared to newly manufactured materials. The body fabric is also bluesign® certified and manufactured according to the strictest standards for environmental protection, occupational safety and consumer protection.
