This lightweight trekking backpack for ambitious long-distance undertakings features our VariQuick back length adjustment and ECL hip fins for a snug, comfortable fit and highly efficient load transfer. The Aircontact Lite full-contact back system made of open cell foam with a ventilation channel generates noticeably effective breathability and allows space to ease the strain on the spine. The result: superb balance between comfort and light weight for long days on the trail.

600D PES REC BS

D stands for Denier – a unit of measurement for yarn weight. 600D means that 9,000 meters of yarn weigh 600 grams. The higher the value, the more robust (and often heavier) the material.
PES stands for Polyester. Polyester fibers are highly tear- and abrasion-resistant, easy to care for, and absorb very little moisture.
PA stands for Polyamide (also known as nylon). Polyamide fibers are especially durable, elastic, and lightweight – ideal for textiles subject to high stress.
REC stands for Recycled – the material is made entirely or partially from recycled resources.
BS stands for bluesign®-certified – the material has been produced in an environmentally friendly and sustainable way according to the bluesign® standard.

The pack features VariQuick system, which enables quick and easy adjustment of the back length to the wearer.

Compact, ergonomic ECL hip fins can be adjusted for stability and a custom fit for efficient load transfer. Special padding inserts hug the hips and provide stability and comfort. An additional cut-out along the back not only ensures ventilation but also reduces pressure on the spine.

The Aircontact Lite back, made of open-cell, hollow-chamber foam padding ensures good breathability and an excellent balance of comfort and light weight. It’s ideal for efficient load transfer.

This product has been manufactured by deuter without the use of per- and polyfluorinated chemicals with the aim of reducing reliance on substances that are harmful to the environment and health.

PFAS are used, among other things, as a waterproofing finish due to their water, dirt and grease-repellent properties.
