Description
It is the patriarch of our Protector backpack family – and it has reinvented itself! In its interior, this bike pack has the most modern of protectors: For optimum protection with little weight. We have also further refined the shoulder straps and the hip fins - together with professional mountain bikers. On the bumpiest of descents, they still give optimum hold. Woven from 600 denier polyester yarn and with a thick PU coating, this tear resistant and light fabric is highly versatile. Whenever it’s about keeping the weight of the backpack as low as possible with moderate stress, then this is the ideal solution. The “deuter Super Polytex BS” version is produced in compliance with the stringent bluesign® standard. Its features and stress factors are identical.
- > D stands for Denier – a unit of measurement for yarn weight. 600D means that 9,000 meters of yarn weigh 600 grams. The higher the value, the more robust (and often heavier) the material.
- > PES stands for Polyester. Polyester fibers are highly tear- and abrasion-resistant, easy to care for, and absorb very little moisture.
- > PA stands for Polyamide (also known as nylon). Polyamide fibers are especially durable, elastic, and lightweight – ideal for textiles subject to high stress.
- > REC stands for Recycled – the material is made entirely or partially from recycled resources.
- > BS stands for bluesign®-certified – the material has been produced in an environmentally friendly and sustainable way according to the bluesign® standard.
Top features of the Attack 20
Multishock back protector
The Multishock back protector has a multiple impact protection. The TÜV-GS tested back system combines pleasant wearing comfort and excellent ventilation, in the spaces between the pads, with maximum safety in case of falls.
Carrying Guard
A non-abrasive and non-slip material on the upper part of the back and shoulder straps so that the bike remains firmly on the backpack in carrying passages.
Shake-free fit
Hip fins set far inside and high fix the Attack directly under the ribcage - on steep descents or steps, the backpack cannot slide upwards.
Stowable helmet holder
The integrated helmet net can be perfectly stowed in the pocket provided.
You want a close-fitting backpack that is easy to carry even with a lot of luggage? Then the contact back is just right for you. The easiest way to carry heavy loads comfortably is to have your backpack and carrier form a single unit. Our Contact carrying system keeps the weight close to the body's center of gravity. This guarantees full control and effective load transfer - even in demanding terrain.
TÜV/GS certified protector backpacks
To actually be allowed to call itself a protector, a protective device must pass stringent tests. The Attack was tested and certified by TÜV SÜD Product Service GmbH (0123) in accordance with the 89/686EWG guideline for personal protective equipment. The residual force value determined for shock-absorbing properties complies with the European standard EN 1621-1* for back protectors.
