Our Gröden and Zugspitze have been there from the very start, back in 1984, when we revolutionised the backpack market with our much copied, fully ventilated mesh Aircomfort System. The round spring steel frame is very lightweight and flexible. It is extremely durable, provides stable tension for the back mesh and transfers the load to the hip belt. Its flexibility guarantees great freedom of movement and a perfect fit.

We use this material in two different strengths – the 600D Ripstop Polyester is a more robust version of the Super Polytex, and the 225D Ripstop Polytex it’s finer variation. Both materials feature a PU coating with a water protection of 2.000mm WS.
