Deuter has been developing innovative backpacks, bags and accessories for 114 years. Our standards in terms of quality, functionality and durability are correspondingly high. We are fully aware that standards like these are only possible because our employees (and those of our manufacturers) are highly competent and motivated – everywhere in the world! That is why good working conditions and a safe and pleasant working environment are so important to us – both at our head office at Gersthofen near Augsburg and at our long-standing partners in Vietnam and China. The company Duke in Vietnam has manufactured for Deuter exclusively since 1994. We have already achieved a great deal. But we have now decided to take things a step further. Since 2011 our progress has been supported and audited by an independent organisation, the Fair Wear Foundation (FWF).
