When/what was your first memorable "outdoor" experience?

I remember a time when I was hiking with my Grandfather and Father in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. We were on a ridge in the clouds and they all of a sudden split and the feeling of exposure filled my body when I could see the trees hundreds of feet below. I still search for this feeling every time I am in the mountains!

What is your most epic outdoor adventure to date?

Lindsay and I were on Mt Russell a year ago and hundred mile per hour winds came out of no where and the temps dropped well below freezing. We were not prepared for this and we ended up bailing 5 pitches up the Mithral Dihedrals. When we would pull the ropes they just stayed in the air from the winds. We couldn’t feel our hands and descending became very dangerous. We did end up making it to the ground and finding a warm sunny spot on the opposite side of the Whitney Russell Col to warm up before heading back to the car.

Cheeseburgers!!!

What is currently playing in your iPod or cassette deck…because cassettes are coming back, you know?

Do you like the nightlife? Do you like to boogie?

My nights usually consist of getting ready for the next day. This could be: packing; sleeping; driving; route research…
