What is your core sport(s)?
Julie: Climbing, fly-fishing, running
Keith: Climbing, snowboarding, fishing and surfing
Ali: Splashing and stick and rock eating

What other sports do you participate in or sort of fun do you enjoy?
Hiking and biking; volleyball, bouncing and dog and cat petting

When/what was your first memorable "outdoor" experience?
Julie: Catching a 3-lb cutthroat trout with bare hands in Creede, Colorado at the age of 5. The lunker was in the shallows and my brother and cousin dared me to try to grab it; not proud of it now, but let’s just say it tasted great fried with corn meal and butter.
Keith: Getting hailed on in July while hiking from Red Mountain over Black Bear Pass to Telluride with my sister and parents. Had to hunker down for about 1 hour with lightning and hail while realizing that those plastic parkas don’t work and jeans get wet and cold in a hurry.
Ali: Not sure if I’m putting any memories into my permanent file yet, but I got to climb and camp in Red Rocks at about 4 months with friends and loved hanging out at the Trophy Wall and playing with rocks.

What is your most epic outdoor adventure to date?
Julie: Climbing Aiguille l’M in Chamonix, getting a touch of vertigo on the descent and then eating it scrambling down through the boulder field at the base. At least there was cold beer waiting for me at the Plan de l’Aiguille Station.
Keith: Starting up the Rostrum in a light rain, firing the climb (so steep it stayed dry) to the last pitch, pulling over into the summit off width to be greeted by a full on stream flowing out of the crack. I got soaked trying to fight through it but eventually chickened-out and down climbed. My partner aided out the severely overhung Alien roof. We couldn’t hear each other due to wind and the roof; after a while and I just had to assume that he’d reached the belay before starting to prussic out the roof with slings. Meanwhile, my partner was freezing his butt off on top in the rain. Great climb, though, and a good memory.
Ali: Seriously? There’s no way my parents would epic with me on board. Although the car ride home from Colorado this summer got a little stale for the last few of hours. Does Deuter make comfy car carriers?

Favorite food?
Julie: Dungeness Crab
Keith: Peanut M&Ms
Ali: Hand-picked blackberries, raspberries and of course lox, capers and cream cheese

What is currently playing in your iPod or cassette deck…because cassettes are coming back, you know?
Julie: Baby’s got Back by Sir Mix A Lot
Keith: Slappin’ my bass to Tom Sawyer, by the greatest band ever- RUSH
Ali: Kings of Leon helps me relax when I’m sleepy

If we could do anything, we would most likely…
Julie: Move to France to ski, climb, eat (everything) and drink good wine
Keith: Travel (by car, train or boat) and follow the seasons hitting climbing areas around the world in prime season. I’d call it the Endless Spring Trip.
Ali: Unpack and destroy everything, and then put the wreckage in my mouth

How do you take your coffee?
Julie: Spiced Chai lots of foam
Keith: Hot chocolate. Whip cream? Of course!
Ali: Hot things scare me

What is your "go-to" Deuter product?
Julie: My old Zugspitze 20 SL pack. Back in the days when I could go fast and light!
Keith: Kid Comfort I, ‘cause baby likes to go for a walk. All the great things about Deuter packs (light weight, carries well, nothing you don’t need) and the baby will spend all day in it- belaying, hiking, sleeping, catching fish etc. without getting antsy. It carries low and solid so there’s no worries about wiping out with baby on board.
Ali: Kid Comfort I. This thing rocks and both my parents tote me all over in it. Best of all they padded my whole area so I can fall asleep without chafing my face.

Do you like the nightlife? Do you like to boogie?
Julie: Little out of practice this last year, but live music in Telluride always gets me swinging
Keith: If it involves attending a sporting event, sure. Did my dancing before I got married and now can point to my ring and tell wifey pooh that the courtship days are ovah!
Ali: I like to eat out and say hi to everyone, not afraid to close out a party, love to jump up and down to the radio.
