Hiking, biking, swimming and rock climbing

 

What other sports do you participate in or sort of fun do you enjoy?
Exploring the neighborhoods in and around San Francisco with my son, Nate. We use our bike or public transport. Nate just turned 1 an is an absolute sponge!

 

When/what was your first memorable "outdoor" experience?
Camping with my family at the same beach each Christmas for 3 weeks. No TV, phones or electricity. Oh, and I am Australian so this was definitely a summer adventure!

 

What is your most epic outdoor adventure to date?
I can think of two and they are both rock climbing multi-pitch adventures. One was getting washed off a HVS near Keswick in England and the other was getting caught in a summer lightening storm in Pinecliffe Colorado.

 

Favorite food?
My husband's pizza nights. He makes the dough from scratch the day before and is an amazing cook. My absolute favorite is his margarita with heirloom tomatoes and basil from our local farmer's markets.

 

What is currently playing in your iPod or cassette deck…because cassettes are coming back, you know?
The Waifs; an Aussie folk band.

 

If I could do anything, I would most likely...
live in a car-free city where the mode of transport is bicycles or renewably-powered public transportation.

Hot from Martha's with whole milk.

TBD, but I suspect the Kid Comfort II

Do you like the nightlife? Do you like to boogie?
I can't remember the last time I stayed up after 10pm since Nate was born, but we certainly do enjoy a day-time boogie in the kitchen to some awesome tunes!
